A self-taught painter, but not unaware of color, that color that permeates all her works has always been in her genes. That color that is so Caribbean and tropical and at the same time so Mediterranean, that blue of its turquoise seas from the Caribbean and more indigo from the furthest away. Her greens from the Cuban countryside, her oranges and her roses, give a life of dream and fantasy to her creations. They say that she has references from Ton Schulten and Paul Klee, but who at 40 years old doesn't have influences from other authors? Now, with so much visual information we receive, it cannot be called influence, it should be called wealth, which we accumulate in our software. Her compositions with an air of abstraction inspire freedom, as if her eyes were a drone flying from above, revealing another way of looking. Her works are full of houses, landscapes, lit cities, blue fields, the night, the bay, bridges, windows and, of course, love. Love with which she raises her fantasies and captures them with enormous wisdom in her paintings. And her paintings are the colors of her dreams.
